Elmhurst Baseball & Softball League is Elmhurst's oldest and largest youth baseball & softball organization. EBSL provides a safe, fun, and competitive environment for 1000+ kids every season.
Managers should provide umpire feedback with a day or two of a game. The feedback form can be found on the website under the Managers button.
Please contact your commissioner or the league through the website if you need the password - it is not the same password that you use when logging in.
The website has an RSVP feature for games and practices. This should be a handy feature for you as a manager to know who’s coming and who’s not for every event.
Here’s how it works:
There are two ways for parents to RSVP on the webiste.
1. On the website
When they sign in to the website, click on Edit My Account, and click on the Schedule button next to their son’s or daughter’s name.
Then next to the event, click the status button to set your RSVP status.
2. Via a reminder Email
The parent will see both a “Yes I will attend” and a “No I will not attend” button in the reminder email.
As a coach, you can check RSVP’s anytime. Sign in to the website and click through to get to your Team page, then click Schedule. Next to each event, you can click the gray Thumbs Up icon to check RSVP’s for this event. You can also respond on behalf of one of your players (e.g. they called you and said their child can’t make it).
Please consider making yourself (and your coaches) accessible to your parents on the website.
The website is set up to hide email addresses – instead of showing email addresses, we are using an “email” button. This way, your email is not exposed – it just gives the parents a form to fill out which causes the system to send you an email. Nothing is published publicly on the site.
In order for this to work, you have to update your personal setting to allow it.
When you log in, click on Edit my Account and click on your name. Next to each of your phone numbers and next to your email address is a drop-down box with three choices: Private, Roster, and Public. This setting affects if and how the system shows your contact info.
Private
This selection makes the entry available only to Administrators and Coaches with rights to view Member Information.
Roster
This selection makes the entry available only to those members with access to team rosters via an Administration Password or Team/Manager Password. This is the default selection for all personal information.
Public
This entry is primarily for Adult positions such as Coach, Manager or Board Members. This will make the entry available to all visitors to the website on pages such as "Contacts" and "Team Contacts".
Please consider making your email “Public” so that people can contact you through the site – remember, we don’t actually show your email address, we just give them a link to create an email. Also, please consider making your phone numbers “Roster” so that your team parents can see it.
